Kevin Feige Reveals; You Need to Keep Up With Most of the Disney+ Series to be in the Loop of MCU
Kevin Feige said Disney+ will be a must if people want to be up to date with the MCU.
In an age where the biggest of blockbuster movies and TV shows arrive in our living rooms where we can watch it in the luxury of our sofa, one platform dominated it all, Netflix. Seeing how the subscription for streaming business was taking off the giant media corporations put on their thinking hats on, and instead of licensing their product for Netflix to use and earn boatloads of money, they decided to give the streaming business their own shot.
One of the leading brands to announce they are releasing their own streaming service is the massive media and theme park conglomerate, Disney. They, like all the other companies, used to lease their movies and TV shows to Netflix, and now Disney Plus is resulting in the company pulling back all its products and putting it in their own, new, and shiny streaming service.

While there is a plethora of other streaming services currently available or will become available in the future, the one service with the highest probability of success is going to be Disney Plus just because of the sheer number of titles available in the Company’s library. To add to the already mind-blowing list of movies and TV shows under Disney’s umbrella, they also recently acquired 21st Century Fox and all their back catalogs.
So, there is going to be a huge offering for the people who subscribe to Disney Plus, but the biggest card in Disney’s deck is the Marvel Studios. Over the past 11 years, MCU became the highest-grossing film franchise in the history of cinema and recently released the highest-grossing movie of all time.

Not only is Marvel killing it in the movie business, but they are also going to take a swing at the TV market when they release a bunch of MCU based TV shows on Disney Plus. But unlike the days gone by where the Marvel Television division and Movies division were separate and barely connected, the hiring of Kevin Feige as the overseer of all Marvel properties is going to change the entire system.
Now, most of the TV shows will be directly connected to their movie counterparts, and the storylines from the series will tie into the movies Marvel is releasing in Phase 4 and beyond. According to Kevin Feige, multiple Disney Plus Marvel shows will directly link into the upcoming phase 4 movies.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Feige said, to understand every aspect of the future of the MCU, a subscription to Disney Plus is a must. He also went on to describe how 'Scarlet Witch' will both appear in her series 'WandaVision' and then in 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.' But she is not the only character who will be making a transition from Disney Plus the movie screen.
According to Kevin Feige, the 'Loki' series will also tie into an MCU movie, “I’m not sure we’ve actually acknowledged that before, but it does.” So not only is 'WandaVision' going to impact the MCU, Loki, which is rumored to be set in the 70s, will also play a role in the future of MCU. So, this means one thing, get your subscription ready and start tucking away some time for the Disney Plus Marvel series because after 11 years of being on this ride, do you really want to be left out?
